We haven’t won since 1992, so this victory is particularly sweet. Given our retuning students we are no doubt the team to beat next year!!!

Congratulations are also in order to the NYC N team placing 21st overall and tied with So Cal B for best #2 team from any organization. Our NYC Y, NYC C, NYC H and NYC J teams soundly defeated many first, second and third place teams from around the country. Far and away, NYC was tops at ARML. I’m proud of all of you and look forward to the 2008-2009 season!!!

On the individual front, NYC had FOUR individual top scorers: Allan Zhao (A), Tao Ran Chen (A), Adam Sealfon (A) and Harriet Li (N) who all scored 7’s. I am most pleased that Adam and Harriet will be back next year!!!

The new year starts quickly with the fall NYCIML and Mandelbrot competitions as well as PUMAC 2008. We placed 4th last year, and my goal for this year is to place at least 2nd!!! No one messes with NYC!!!

Have a great rest of the summer!!!
